今日も雲が多い夜でした．
しかし，夜半前にかけて次第にシーイングが良くなり，即席解析の結果，視野全面平均で 0".42 のシーイングを達成していることが確認されました．
一般に，大口径望遠鏡の広視野化は難しいのですが，高結像性能が達成されつつあることを示しています．
写真は観測を終えた朝，中腹の観測者用宿泊施設に帰ろうとしているところの風景です．(YU)
In Y-band where natural seeing is supposed to be better than in any other blue band, we obtained the best image record of 0.42 arcsec FWHM (median). This is 30 sec exposure but even if we extend the exposure time to 300 sec, the quality stayed the same 0.43 arcsec (no guiding). We were really thrilled with these images. (SM)
